H & H Sugarbush L.L.C. is a family run business. We have been making maple syrup since 2007.  The farm has been family run for well over 100 years.  Every spring we tap maple trees throughout the woods and hand collect the sap.  In the 2009 season we produced 32 gallons of syrup.  One interesting fact is that it takes about 40 gallons of sap to produce one gallon of syrup.  We boil all of our syrup in a sugar shack right outside our house.  We believe in making it a family affair.  Our four year old daughter also helps with the collection of sap and other odds and ends around the farm.  We added another daughter to our family this year.  Madeline will also be able to help with all of the fun things.
